BAKED ORIGINAL CHAI LATTE CUSTARD
Ingredients
- 2 Eggs
- 1/3 cup Sugar for custard
- 1/2 cup Sugar to caramelize
- 1/4 tsp. Salt
- 1 1/2 cup Milk, scalded
- 1/2 cup Oregon Chai The Original™ Chai Tea Latte Concentrate
Directions
Caramelize ½ cup sugar. Pour a little into each custard cup. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Beat eggs, sugar and salt slightly to mix. Stir in scalded milk and Original Chai concentrate. Pour into 8 custard cups. Set cups in a pan of hot water (1″ deep.) Bake 40 minutes or until a knife inserted 1″ from edge comes out clean. Remove from oven. Un-mold to serve. 8 servings
