Our Cocktail Maven Joey is sharing her favorite Oregon Chai Glögg recipe just in time for the holidays!
Similar in taste to a sangria, Glögg is a hot, spiced wine from Scandinavia. They suffer from long, cold winters so any warm wine drink coming from their region is bound to be worth a try. This recipe adds a little punch and warms the bones.
Ingredients:
8 oz. of red wine
1.5 oz. Oregon Chai Spiced Chai Tea Latte Concentrate
0.5 oz. DaVinci Gourmet Vanilla Syrup
2 star anise seeds
A cinnamon stick for garnish
A dash of cinnamon
3 orange rind peels
Directions:
Place ingredients into a simmering pot and simmer until the smell permeates the room/10-15 minutes. Serve warm in a coffee mug with a cinnamon stick.
