Recycling

Around here, priority number one is providing you with inspiration. And we take that goal all the way to the way we treat our environment. Sustainable agriculture, environmental awareness and all-natural products are key parts of who we are.

Here’s a little info on why our particular purple is actually very green:

Our concentrate is packaged in compact, lightweight paper Tetra Paks which are recyclable in many states. You can find out if it’s recyclable in your community at www.recyclecartons.com.

We also use an aseptic packaging process that’s environmentally smart from the get-go. It’s completely sterile, so our concentrates are shelf-stable and don’t require refrigeration. Coming out the other side, this means our packaging uses less energy to manufacture, fill, ship and store than virtually any other comparable package on the market. (Hello, energy efficiency!)

Additionally, Oregon Chai’s dry mix cartons are made with recycled cardboard and are recyclable in every state in the United States.

But wait, there’s more! Our canister packaging is also made with over 50% recycled materials, and it’s frequently recyclable as a metal.

Please recycle our packages whenever possible. You won’t be able to see us smiling, but we will be. And so will Mother Nature.
